About Us
Established in 1996, Fearnley Day Nursery has a longstanding reputation for excellence. In 2023, our current Nursery Manager took over leadership, bringing a deep commitment to providing outstanding care for every child in our setting.

Our dedicated and experienced staff are encouraged to develop their skills and knowledge in many different areas, including Safeguarding, Paediatric First Aid, Health & Safety, the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), and Basic Food Hygiene.

Our nursery is ideally located just off Cleckheaton Road on Belmont Avenue in a quiet residential area of Bradford, West Yorkshire. We welcome visits from all families who wish to look around. We offer 15 to 30 hours of free funded places for children from 9 months old, as well as for eligible 2-, 3-, and 4-year-olds.

Fees & Charges
Our childcare fees:
Hourly rate: £5.67
Full day: £56.70
Morning session: £34.13
Afternoon session: £33.08
All fees above include meals (breakfast, lunch and tea).
Children accessing funding
If your child is accessing funded hours, please note that funding covers childcare hours only.
Children accessing funding under the age of 3 have no additional charges.
Additional sessions on top of funding:
Any additional sessions/hours attended after funding is applied will be charged at our hourly rate (£5.67). These additional charges are calculated across the weeks your child attends and then spread evenly over the year, so your monthly payments remain consistent.
For funded 3/4 year olds, a meal charge applies on funded sessions only:
Breakfast: £2.00
Lunch: £3.50
Tea: £2.00
Opting out: Parents/carers can choose to opt out of this meal charge and are welcome to provide their child’s own meals instead.
(These charges apply only to the funded hours, where applicable.)
How we calculate monthly payments
To make payments consistent and easier to budget, all fees and any applicable extras are calculated across the weeks your child attends and then spread evenly across the year.
Term-time only: based on 38 weeks attendance
All year round: based on 51 weeks attendance
This means your monthly fee is the same each month, rather than changing depending on how many sessions fall in that month.
Annual fee review
We review and introduce a fees increase each April which includes our 3/4 year old food charge, in line with increases in the National Minimum Wage and the rising costs of running the nursery. We will always keep families updated and provide notice in advance of any changes.
